Buffalo Pass Ski - December 2012

Last weekend Rachel and I headed north of Steamboat for a weekend of sled-access skiing at Buffalo Pass. This summer we rode from Rabbit Ears to Buff Pass and back, but this was the first time we've been there in the winter. With the cold weather and low sun, even terrain facing due south held light and deep snow. We spent the first day skiing south facing aspens, and followed that up with a day of quiet north facing pillows and open glades. I think the pictures tell the story.

Needless to say, we will be going back!
